Last Saturday’s Frisco Roughriders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, crowd was treated to “The Star-Spangled Banner” sung by the North Lamar High School Chamber Singers. It was the first time the NLHS Choir performed before fans of the Roughriders. Fox Sports Southwest televised the baseball game against the Midland RockHounds.
North Lamar’s choir began pre-selling tickets for the game in January. In doing so, fans received unlimited hot dogs, brats, chips, peanuts, and Dr. Pepper products in addition to a limited edition Roughriders souvenir, a game program, and the special promo for the day.
