NLHS Students Learning the Parts of a Cell through Baking

Students in Sandra Patterson’s Biology I class at North Lamar High School got creative when learning the parts of a cell.  They decided to bake a cake for the class and decorate it like the inside of a cell labeling the mitochondria, nucleolus, cytoplasm, ribosome and other parts.  Pictured left are Daylin Webb and Sara Eudy.  Others who contributed to the project but not pictured are Alex Ausms and Noah Moss.
