NLISD Donates To Lamar County Organization

Teachers and staff at North Lamar ISD raised $721 for the Paris Pregnancy Care Center through a ‘Jean Week’ campaign. NL representative Tammy McGuire, left, presented a check to Executive Director Vicki Powell. The money will be used to help expectant mothers with their needs and infant supplies.

One week each month is designated for community awareness at North Lamar ISD with focus given to one Lamar County organization. Teachers and staff pay to wear jeans that week with one hundred percent of the proceeds going to that one group.
