UPDATE – No Injuries Reported In Delta County Tanker Crash/Fire

First responders were called to a single-vehicle crash and fire involving a diesel tanker on Hwy 19/24 at the Hopkins-Delta County line Wednesday afternoon at about 4:35. Delta County authorities say the crash was caused by a blown tire, and the driver, Kerry Bell of Winnsboro,  made it out of the vehicle safely and was not injured. The tanker was loaded with unleaded fuel and a HAZMAT crew was called for cleanup and remediation.
