No Public School Ratings From The TEA This Year

The Texas Education Agency will not be giving “A-F” ratings to public school systems because of the disruptions to education caused by the pandemic. They usually provide the ratings to measure the performance of the districts based on numerous factors. Despite that change, they will give the STAAR tests as planned. However, schools that use STAAR Tests for teacher evaluations will remove that component this school year.
