The Bell County Sheriff’s Office arrested Amanda Martinez, 31, accused of throwing soup in the face of a Temple restaurant employee. The charge is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail, a fine of up to $4,000, or both. She bonded out for $5,000, hours after her arrest. Her complaint? The soup was too hot.
