North Lamar Athletes Bring Home Area Track And Field Ribbons

Athletes from North Lamar High School competed in the Area Track Special Olympics Spring Games at Lovejoy High School on April 26-27.

Those returning with ribbons, beginning front row left, are Avery Tawater, third in the 100-meter dash and first in the standing long jump, Gabby Smith, third in the 100 and second in the mini Javelin 300 mg, and Helena Dyck, second in the 50-meter walk and first in the ball throw for distance.

In back are Jonathan Warren, first in the 200-meter dash and second in the running long jump, Marcus Sanchez, second in the 200 and fourth in the running long jump,Clayton Tippit, second in the100 and second in the mini javelin 400 mg, Dakota Richardson, third in the 100 and second in the mini javelin 400 mg, Gary Cady, second in the 100 and second in the softball throw, Charlie Wilkerson, third in the 100 and second in the softball throw, Randy Dowell, third in the 50-meter dash and third in the softball throw.
