North Lamar Debaters Give Valuable Speaking Tips

Parker GT students learn presentation skills

Members of North Lamar High School’s Debate Team spoke to the Gifted and Talented students at Aaron Parker Elementary about presentation skills.  Junior Katie Hodgkiss and senior Zach Huffman spoke of the importance of enthusiasm, presentation style, posture, confidence, and word choice.

“We appreciated them coming so much and the kids really enjoyed it,” said Parker GT teacher Britany Creamer.
