In a game heard on Mix 107.7, the North Lamar Pantherettes dropped a thrilling four-set match with Farmersville 25–16, 24–26, 21–25 and 25–27. Farmersville moves on to the regional tournament. North Lamar, like the other schools in the area, will now make the transition to basketball.
The Texas A&M University-Commerce football team is ranked sixth in the NCAA Division II Super Region Four rankings. The Lions are 8–2 overall with a 6–2 record in-region. The top seven teams in the region at the completion of the regular season will advance to the NCAA Division II Football Championship. The No. 14 Lions enter the final week of the regular season with a home matchup against Angelo State. The game will take place at 4:00 pm on Saturday.
The Dallas Stars ended their six-game road trip last night with a 4–1 loss at Columbus. They will be home Thursday night to face San Jose.
And the Mavs defeated the Washington Wizards 119–100. Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 23 points. Dallas will be on the road tonight in Utah.
