North Lamar High School’s HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is excited to host the “Band-Aids and Boo-Boos” Emergency Preparedness Fair on Tuesday, September 17, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in the Higgins parking lot. They designed the family-friendly event to equip families with essential skills to handle emergencies with confidence.
The American Red Cross will offer hands-on CPR training and opportunities to sign up for free smoke alarms with installation. Attendees can also participate in “Stop the Bleed” training. Paris Police Department, Paris Fire Department, and Quality ER will be present to provide vital information, including poison control. Our HOSA students will engage younger attendees in interactive games that teach preparedness skills in a fun and educational way.
