North Lamar HS Students Named To Area Band

Final audition for All-State in January

On December 7, students from all the large high schools in Region IV competed for placement in the All-Region Band.  The top students on each instrument were selected to advance to the Area competition in Dallas on January 12 for the final audition to get into the Texas Music Educators All-State Band.  Pictured are the students from North Lamar High School that have advanced to the Area audition.

          Beginning in the first row are Jerron Newberry, Cydney Holbrook, Jayden Franklin, and Isla Taber; second row, Andrew Thompson, Donato Curvino, Symphony Hill and Stoney Shelton; and back row, Brian Slater, Parker Freeman, Will Rast, Colton Wilson, and Dylan Halliday.

          The North Lamar High School Band is under the direction of Randy Jones, Jason R. Smith, and Justin Caldwell.
