North Lamar ISD Seeks Bond Election

During a specially called meeting, the North Lamar ISD board called a $44.9 million bond issue election for May 6. If the issue is approved by voters, there will be a tax increase, but the amount has not yet been announced. If the bond is passed, money raised will be used to build a new elementary and intermediate school, and make renovations on several other campuses.
