North Lamar Meningitis Test Comes Back Negative

The North Lamar ISD has been notified by the Paris-Lamar County Health Department that tests results taken from a 19 year old North Lamar senior who died last week came back negative for meningitis.  The district  began notifying the district’s families with its Panther Alert system of the possible exposure to the infection. The message listed the symptoms of meningitis and advised all to contact their healthcare provider should symptoms be evident.
