The robotics class at Stone Middle School recently toured the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics facility in Fort Worth. While there they were able to see the F-35 jet being assembled and were given a presentation on the history of jets. The presenter explained how the engineering process the students are learning in their robotics class can be applied to a career in aeronautics. The tour was hosted by North Lamar alumni Duane Cuttrell who is Deputy Vice President and Operations Director-Engineering & Technology at Lockheed.
