North Lamar To Apply For Federal Grant

The North Lamar ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to apply for $1.152 million in federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief funds at last week’s meeting. If approved, the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act would provide the money. School officials say that an answer to the application should come in the next few weeks.
