Applicants who are interested in running for a place on the North Lamar ISD School Board have the option to choose a three-year term or a one-year unexpired term when signing up.
Board members Kristi Trammell and Jeff Martin are each serving three-year terms that expire in May. The place filled by Rickey Richardson, who was appointed to fill the vacancy left by Paul Drake’s resignation, will have a one-year unexpired term to be filled. That spot will be open next year for a full three-year term. All three incumbents have turned in applications for a place on the ballot.
Filing for applications began January 17 and will end on February 16. Applications may be picked up at the North Lamar Administration Office from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Monday through Friday.
