The U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division says a North Texas restaurant, Roanoke Hard Eight BBQ, failed to pay its employees nearly $900,000 in tips and overtime pay. Officials say they owed its employees all their tips, and they didn’t pay hourly managers the correct time and a half rate for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek. In addition, the restaurant broke the law by including managers in their tip pool.
