North Texas Soldier Killed In Afghanistan Helicopter Crash

A North Texas soldier supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in Afghanistan was killed when his helicopter crashed while providing security for troops on the ground. He was identified as 33-year-old Chief Warrant Officer David C. Knadle, of Tarrant, Texas. Also, killed was 25-year-old Chief Warrant Officer Kirk T. Fuchigami, Jr., of Hawaii. Both were assigned to the 1st Air Cav at Ft. Hood.
