North Texas Woman Charged With Setting Step-Daughter On Fire

A North Texas woman who admitted to pouring rubbing alcohol on her five-year-old step-daughter’s face and lighting it on fire as a punishment for yelling has been indicted for felony Injury to a Child. Dalia Jimenez, 20-year-old, of Grand Prairie, originally told detectives the child’s injuries were the result of an accident with a candle.
