A North Texas woman has been convicted in Tarrant County of attempted murder and injury to a child for withholding food from her young son. Prosecutors say Danita Tutt lied to doctors about her son’s symptoms, resulting in the boy, now 13, undergoing unnecessary surgery and other procedures.
