North Texas Woman Guilty Of Making Up Child’s Illnesses

The Texas woman accused of putting her son through unneeded medical tests and procedures by making up symptoms of serious illnesses has pleaded guilty to recklessly causing injury to a child. Reportedly, 35-year-old Kaylene Bowen-Wright pleaded guilty in Dallas County court and will be sentenced in October. CPS removed the boy from her care in 2017 after it was alerted by a hospital.
