Christmas 2019 is our 21st year and our 42nd concert as the North East Texas Choral Society. NETCS is unique in our area, and we are very proud to have been able to entertain you, our community, for so many years. We cannot do this without you. We sing for YOU!
NETCS has over 100 singers from all over Hopkins and surrounding counties. It’s a testament to the closeness of our NETCS family that we still have almost 20 Charter Singers – who have been with us since our very first concert 21 years ago!
For our Christmas concert this year, we have chosen music that we feel best demonstrates the feelings of love and family at the winter Holiday Season for our “Hearts Come Home for Christmas” concert. We’ve collected all of your favorite Holiday songs and hymns; from “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” (and yes, the Grinch himself will be appearing!); from “Bethelem Light” to “Breath of Heaven.” There will be moments you will dry, moments you will laugh, and moments that will leave you filled with the spirit of peace and joy. We can’t wait to sing for you!
