Nurse Assaulted At Longview Hospital

A Gilmer man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a nurse at a Longview hospital. The nurse went to a trauma room to check on why Jason Carroll Wellborn was moaning and was punched and scratched after he gave Wellborn a pen and paper to write down his symptoms. He was later arrested for Assault on a Public Servant and Contempt of Court- Disobedience of a Court Order
