Off Duty Officer Foils Armed Robbery – Two Suspects Shot

Two teen suspects were injured and two other teen suspects are in custody after an attempted armed robbery at the Game X-Change in Athens. One suspect held a handgun while the other suspects ordered the clerk and customers to the floor and demanded money. ONe of the customers was an off duty Kerens police officer, who attempted to stop the robbery and shot two of the suspects. He detained all four until Athens police arrived on the scene.  The suspects who were shot will survive their injuries.
