Official State Forest In Pushmataha County

The Conservation Fund has purchased 11,000 acres of land in Pushmataha County that they will use to develop Oklahoma’s first official State Forest. The land is in the round mountain area, about 15 miles near Hochatown. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture and Forestry will manage the wildlife area.
