Oil Worker And Wife Die Of Toxic Fumes

A 44-year-old Ector County oil company worker died after he was overcome by poisonous gas at a pump house. His 37-year-old wife also was killed by the fumes when she went to check on him. Authorities say they inhaled hydrogen sulfide gas at the facility in Odessa. The couple’s children were in the car and weren’t harmed by the colorless, highly corrosive toxic gas.
