Oklahoma Health Commissioner Resigns Amid Spousal Abuse Allegations

Because of allegations of spousal abuse, the interim commissioner of Oklahoma’s State Health Department has resigned. The resignation of Preston Doerflinger was accepted by the Health Department board. The incident allegedly happened in Tulsa in 2012 and was investigated, but was closed and never forwarded to the District Attorney’s office.
