Pushmataha County sentenced 36-year-0ld David Leroy Earls, of Tsukahara, with sexually abusing a mentally disabled person. Earls received 140 months in federal prison and five years of supervised release for three counts of sexual abuse in Indian Country. The U.S. Attorney prosecuted the case because the defendant is a tribal member and the crimes occurred on the Choctaw Nation Reservation.
