Oklahoma Suspect Dies After Swallowing Evidence

A Southeast Oklahoma man has died after he swallowed the contents of a bag he dropped while being booked into the Lone Oak Jail. He tried to escape but was detained. Reportedly, 40-year-old Scott Lee Pumphrey, of Ardmore, started turning blue and was immediately rushed to the hospital where he later died. The incident is under investigation.
