Oklahoma Tribal Leaders Denounce Governor’s Gambling Plan

The Inter-Tribal Council, representing Choctaw, Cherokee, Chickasaw, Muscogee, and Seminole Indian Nations have issued a resolution condemning Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt’s plan to force negotiations for more revenue from Oklahoma’s tribal casinos. The council represents about 750,000 Native Americans across the country.
