One Dead In East Texas Officer-Involved Shooting

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office identified the man killed Thursday morning in an officer-involved shooting as 31-year old Demetrius Williams. A press release from Harrison County said that the  SWAT team got involved in a shooting incident while they were serving a narcotics warrant. Williams had attempted to flee the scene and tried to run over a deputy. Texas Rangers are leading the investigation.
