One Dead In East Texas Plane Crash

Cessna 310 – not actual plane involved in the crash

One person is dead after a plane crashed Monday afternoon in Rusk County at about 3:20, nine miles east of East Texas Regional Airport. Firefighters extinguished a fire, and the scene was closed off until FAA crash investigators could arrive. The plane was a Cessna 310, and they think the pilot was the only person on board.
