One Dead In Fannin County Domestic Disturbance Shooting

One man is dead after a Fannin County man shot his son during a domestic disturbance. Authorities say 70-year-old Joseph Dowen Day, of Trenton, was in an altercation with 37-year-old Wilson J. Day and shot him after he was threatened and feared for his life. Fannin County Deputies confirmed Wilson Day was deceased and an autopsy was ordered. The father was not arrested and the investigation is continuing.
