A single-vehicle crash killed 30-year-old Travis Carl Lemmert of Ben Wheeler shortly before 2:00 am Thursday in Henderson County. State Troopers report that he was driving on FM 314 when he failed to negotiate a curve on the wet road and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
