One Dead In Kaufman County Crash

At about 1:00 am New Year’s Day, a person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-20 in Kaufman County at the Van Zandt County line. Investigators say the vehicle veered out of control, crossed into the median, vaulted over the dividing cables, and ended up in on-coming traffic. No other vehicles were involved, but one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and they took the two injured to hospitals in unknown condition.
