One Dead In Wood County Crash

One person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a single vehicle crash on FM 69 about four miles north of Quitman in Wood County. The preliminary DPS report indicates that the SUV driven by 48-year-old Michael Baines of Quitman was traveling south on FM 69 and side skid, exiting a curve in the road to the right. The vehicle ran off the road and rolled several times. They pronounced him at a local hospital.
