One Dead, One In Custody In Upshur County Shooting

Upshur County Deputies responded to shots fired shortly after midnight Saturday morning on Highway 154 East of Gilmer. Deputies found 29-year-old Michael Odom lying in the driveway of the residence with a gunshot wound to the chest. Officials transported him to a Longview Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A suspect is in custody and facing murder charges.
