One Dead, One Injured In Train Accident

One of two people who hopped on a train in San Marcos has been killed in Cherokee County. A Hispanic male was killed when he either jumped or fell from a Union Pacific freight train near Jacksonville. A woman suffered a broken leg when she jumped from the train in the Troup area. The train, which had originated in Laredo, was carrying cars to Chicago.
