One Dead, One Seriously Wounded, One in Custody After Domestic Violence in Wood County

Wood County Deputies and Texas Rangers are investigating a homicide and an attempted homicide that occurred early Sunday morning near Quitman. A suspect was arrested about six hours after the incident just inside the Upshur County line. Initial indications are a woman died and a man was seriously wounded. Sources say the suspect is a juvenile family member. No names have been publicly released at this time.
