One Dead, One Wounded In Greenville Shootings

The Greenville Police Department received a 911 call shortly before midnight Wednesday of a shooting in the 1900 block of Edgar Street. Responding units found two gunshot victims at the location and both were transported to the Hunt Regional Medical Center where one was later pronounced dead. The second victim is being treated. The Greenville Police Department is actively investigating the crime and at this time no suspects have been identified.  No further details are available at this time and no names have been released.
