One down and one to go, expect the next round of wintry weather to move into Texas by Tuesday afternoon, crossing the Red River before driving south. Areas north of Interstate 20 could get 3 to 5 more inches of snow. It should be mainly a freezing rain or sleet mix, which could result in additional significant icing, especially south of Dallas-Fort Worth. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth issued a new warning, scheduled for 6:00 pm Tuesday to 6:00 am Thursday, urges North Texans to avoid travel, and warned more power outages are likely.
