Wednesday evening, around 6:17, a Ford pickup traveled east on SH 155 during night conditions struck a pedestrian wearing all-black clothing attempted to cross SH 155 and failed to yield the right of way. It was about four miles west of Ore City. Justice of the Peace Lyle Potter pronounced Emmanuel LeBlanc, 17, of Ore City, at the scene. The pickup driver, Sonny W. Fisher, 25, of Gilmer, and his passenger were not injured.
