The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation has identified the woman savagely beaten to death last Tuesday at her home in Antlers as 95-year-old Gladys Land. Her daughter, 73-year-old Brenda Vanbeber, was critically injured but is expected to survive. Investigators say the attack happened after someone broke into their home in the middle of the night. They have not made any arrests nor identified a suspect in the case.
