OSBI Investigating Officer Involved Shooting In Hugo

The OSBI is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Hugo that hospitalized the suspect. The initial report indicates that one officer saw a man walking down the street who he knew had an outstanding warrant. The man fled, but another officer caught up to him. The suspect allegedly fired at the officer and continued to run, exchanging gunfire with the officer. The officer hit the suspect, and they transported him to Choctaw Memorial Hospital and then flew him to Dallas. His condition is not known.
