OSDH Takes Services on the Road in McCurtain County

The Oklahoma State Department of Health District 9 mobile health unit will offer public health services throughout January in locations across southeast Oklahoma.

OSDH District 9 serves a nine-county region including Atoka, Bryan, Coal, Choctaw, Latimer, LeFlore, McCurtain, Pittsburg and Pushmataha Counties.

The “Mobile Health on the Go” mobile wellness unit is part of a statewide fleet mobilized earlier this year by OSDH to help reach underserved communities with vital services, including the COVID-19 vaccine.

At our upcoming events, we’ll be offering both flu and COVID-19 shot.

We’re also helping sign people up for SoonerCare (Medicaid) after the state increased eligible income guidelines for adults 19 to 64.

The OSDH District 9 mobile wellness unit will be at the following locations in January:

January 13 – 10a to 2p, Idabel’s Beauty Supply, 110 SE Washington, Idabel, OK

January 21 – 10a to 2p, Idabel Jumper Shopping Center, 413 S. Central Ave., Idabel, OK
