The Texas Comptroller says the pandemic is starting to hammer the state’s bottom line. The state took in 400 million dollars less than a year ago. The oil production sector was hit hardest of all, with a drop of 75 percent. And with so many Texans forced to stay home, motor fuel taxes were down 30 percent. That’s the worst showing in more than 30 years.
