Pantherettes Get Bat Girl For The Night

Bailey Intermediate fourth grader Molly Martin served as the bat girl for the North Lamar Pantherettes during Tuesday night’s softball game against Liberty-Eylau. Her parents, Brittany and Jeff Martin, purchased the auction item at the North Lamar Education Foundation fundraising event in the fall.

          “A little girl felt extra special tonight getting to hang with the big girls,” said Molly’s mother.  “Thanks to the Pantherettes for letting Molly be batgirl tonight!”

          The Pantherettes will play at home Friday night against the Paris Lady Cats. The district game will begin at 6:00 p.m.
