Schools around Titus County and Titus Regional Medical Center have joined together to help ensure that local student athletes get their physicals done. The free clinic will be open to all students from Mt. Pleasant, Chapel Hill, Winfield and Harts Bluff from the 7th grade and up.

Sulphur Springs – Yesterday evening was the first time in over a decade that Sulphur Springs Wildcats played a spring football game.  The Blue and White scrimmage featured about 45 Wildcat players on each team, putting on display the work put in over the last several weeks.  The practice featured six quarters with live referees, with a running clock only being stopped on coaches signals.

Tonight the Texas Rangers begin a three game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Cole Hamels will be on the hill for Texas, who’s currently in 2nd place, behind Seattle in the AL West with a 27-20 record. First pitch tonight between the Rangers and Pirates [on KPLT 1490am and 96.3fm] is set for 7:05pm Central Time.

Last night in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors stay alive beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-111. Game six of the East Finals between Cleveland and Toronto will be played tonight with the Cavs leading 3-2. Tip off is set for 7:30.
