Paris City Council Approves Apartment Building

By a 6 -1 vote, the Paris City Council has approved a zoning change that will allow for a new apartment complex to be built on a 12 acre site in the 1100 block of 20^th Street NE.  Councilmember Cleonne Drake opposed the measure.

The Paris City Council also approved a tax credit for a housing project at 4800 Hwy 82. The project will provide what was called affordable rental housing.
