Paris City Council Approves Tax Cut

The Paris City Council voted at this week’s meeting to cut property taxes 3 ½ cents per hundred-dollar valuation. The effective tax rate will be 51 cents per hundred. Reportedly, $568,000 in spending was cut from the budget.
